There are two chapels, each with a separate waiting area and covered floral tribute area. The grounds are maintained as natural woodland, with no plaques, memorial stones or rose beds. Each year, a memorial carol service is held for family and friends to remember their loved ones. Christmas wreaths are displayed in the floral court between mid-November and the end of January.

At Bretby Crematorium we offer a range of keepsakes and memorials; this includes the The Book of Remembrance. Each memorial is beautifully inscribed by a calligrapher, and the Book remains on display in a purpose-built chapel throughout the year. A digital copy of the Book resides within the chapel, and there is also an online Book of Remembrance which can be accessed at any time. The grounds and Book of Remembrance are open every day of the year.
